Old Town is a clothing manufacturer producing approx. 50 garments per week from our own workshop using British cottons, woollens and linens wherever possible.
To the casual observer Old Town might appear to be simply an exercise in nostalgia, but we hope that the discerning might notice that the garments are essentially useful items with reference points and influences from past costume. In much the same way as today’s townscape is made of elements from different periods, we attempt in a simple way, to play with the notion of Now and Then.
The shop and workshop is at 49 Bull Street, Holt, Norfolk NR25 6HP.

Our ‘Borough’ jacket, ‘Vauxhall’ trousers and ‘Bungalow’ dress styles, in a limited range of fabrics, are on sale at Labour & Wait, 85, Redchurch St., London E2.
Tuesday to Saturday 10 o’clock to 5 o’clock (you might like to telephone before travelling any great distance).
Garments are selected from an evolving range offered in various sizes, fabrics and colours. Items are individually cut, sewn and finished before despatch by post.
The process takes about 4-6 weeks.
Garments are made to order as opposed to made to measure - giving the customer the opportunity to return the items if not satisfied.
We now accept payment by debit card so orders may be made by telephone or by post with a cheque or postal order.
