We hope that this website will serve as an introduction to Old Town and as a reminder to existing customers of the current styles we make. Existing customers may notice that the range is somewhat slimmer than previously and that we no longer operate a physical retail shop. After thirty years of Old Town we feel that we need to concentrate on producing our most popular core styles.
At Old Town we design a range of everyday clothing. We produce around seventy garments per week from our own workshop using British cottons, woollens and linens wherever possible.
With regard to the design the aim is for simplicity and restraint with minimal styling, letting the construction influence the look. References are made to costume of the past but the intention is for contemporary relevance.
Our workshop and its associated offices is at 49 Bull Street, Holt, Norfolk NR25 6HP.
Our principle way of working is by mail order, however we will be maintaining a range of samples for trying on by appointment (on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays only).
Our X-over dress, Unity Suit, Stanley jacket and Vauxhall trousers are on sale in a limited range of fabrics at Labour And Wait in London.
Our furnishing fabric designs are available from St Jude's.
Please telephone to make an enquiry or place an order on 01263 710001. The workshop is staffed Monday-Friday 10AM-5PM. We can also be contacted by e-mail: email@example.com
Garments are selected from an evolving range offered in various sizes, fabrics and colours. Items are individually cut, sewn and finished before despatch by post.
The process takes 6-8 weeks.
Items ordered for stage productions, hotels, bars and restaurants are nonreturnable.
We accept payment by debit card, credit card and bank transfer so orders may be made by telephone.
Please speak to Marie or Roberta. The number is 01263 710001 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org
